This season it’s time to swap the classic black and grey smoky eye with a more wearable brown with gold highlight.
When someone mentions a smoky eye there is no doubt that the first image that comes to your mind is the classic black and greys that are more commonly used. The smoky eye look often sported by stars en route to galas and events is a night time favorite for dressing up your eyes. But the smoky eye has had a face lift and with the help from some simple color swapping you can now wear this classic look during the day without feeling overdone.
So push aside the charcoals and greys, for now, and reach for the more wearable daytime colors like brown, copper, bronze and gold. The smoky eye is a classic for a reason and limiting it to just wearing at night is a shame and about to change.
Here are some gorgeous looks from the beauties of Pinterst to get you inspired and a tutorial from Youtube sensation Teni Panosian to get you started.
